The most important step: the design

The first and most important step to any log home is the design. We strongly recommend to take the extra time and effort to develop a well thought out and efficient design customized to your needs.
To start, we work closely with you to develop conceptual sketches and possible designs based on your requirements and our ideas together. Then with either a designer you have already chosen or one of the cutting edge designers we work with, the design is shaped into a full set of plans to work from and ready to be engineered for your building permit application. Each designer has their unique style and approach to designing a home. Also, at this stage the total budget of the home is being set.

A good point to start is gathering a collection of idea photos that inspire you, from magazines, books or the internet. We usually work closely with the designer, keeping in mind the budget, foreign building requirements and your needs.
