Fusion style: a combination

Fusion style is a hybrid concept which combines log post and beam and scribe-fit construction. Like the post and beam it offers a more contemporary feel with more windowoptions and natural lighting. The three log rounds of scribe-fit construction are flattened off to accept post and beam construction on top of it with an average window sill height of approximately 1 m.

Exposed log floor joist systems (for second floor) are often used. Once the log package has been re-assembled on your building site the walls and roof will have to be finished by your carpenters.

The insulation used is the latest technology EM-Seal©, which is very effective to resist air infiltration. Sheeps wool is also used for extra insulation. The logs used are large diameter (average 45 cm butts and 30 cm min. tops ) douglas fir, western red cedar or yellow cedar.
